Our Uvalde Hunting lodge was build in 1970 as a hay barn. In 2002 we constructed rooms and full baths inside the barn with old rustic timbers.Our unique rustic lodge and patio provides an atmosphere of the old hunting lodge with modern amenities. It has a full commercial kitchen, game room and wonderful outdoor patio with Fire Pits, washer boards, Horse Shoes pits, B.B.Q. Pits and Fish Fryers surrounded by Oak trees overlooking a pond. Elderado provides split wood for all fires.

Dove Packages

Uvalde Texas is located on the border of the central and south zones. Uvalde offers tremendous opportunities for early September hunts. The Oak trees in town provide a safe roost for the migratory bird. Like clockwork, the birds leave town and move towards the many gain fields surrounding Uvalde. They return on schedule.

As the birds migrate south, Elderado has relationships with other outfitters and farmers to continue to find good amounts of birds. 70% of all hunts are 50 yards from our lodge. The other 30% are no more than a 15-minute drive. This is the key to any good dove hunt.

Three day hunt $650.00 - $800.00 per gun depending on weekdays vs. weekends and number of hunters. Includes guides, food, lodging, bird cleaning and packaging.

Deer Hunt Packages

Elderado provides Deer packages for all levels of hunting. From Trophy hunts to management bucks, Elderado can meet your needs.

A three day buck hunt can range from $2500.00-$7500.00 and includes a doe, guides, food and lodging. Prices reflect the score of the deer using the Boone and Crockett scoring method.

Late season doe hunts are $250.00 per doe, per man which includes guides, food and lodging. It is a great way for fathers and sons or large Corporate groups to deer hunt with their clients. (minimum 8 hunters/ maximum 18)

Same weekend processing can be arranged.

Rio grande Turkey Packages

If you are working on a Grand Slam or your first bird, Elderado can help accomplish your goal. As a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) we understand the excitement of calling up a Big Rio.

Spring Turkey hunting only unless you are purchasing a deer package.

$900.00 per person for a 3 day hunt (minimum of 4 people) includes partial guide, food and lodging.

Exotic Hunts

Elderado provides quality exotic hunts in both Uvalde and Del Rio. Prices vary based on the variety of animals, # of hunters and # of days.

Recreational Activities

The big , beautiful, secluded, Frio River is the best river in Texas to spend those hot summer days tubing and rafting. We'll set you up on the very best spots on the river. For kayaking & canoeing, take an adventure down Nueces River. Hit the green with a choice of two 18 hole courses. Also, Garner State Park is only 20 minutes from our lodge.

Our unique banquet room maintains the quality and atmosphere of a 5 star restaurant. We take great care and preperation in all of our food. Such meals include, Cabrito, Tenderloin, and the best B.B.Q. in Uvalde County.

Our King Ranch Suite provides upscale lodging for the hunting couple. The Suite is located 500 feet from our main lodge which provides a more private setting. Our Suite is also used on Corporate retreats allowing females to come along with the boys and yet have their own separate facility.

Horse are a big part of our life and business. We do trail rides for kids of all ages. Our Rodeo arena allows you to try all the different patterns of a real rodeo. Trail rides around the farm are always relaxing.

Prices start at $75.00 per hour. Discounts can be arranged with booked hunts.
